Busser/Runner at Discovery Land Company

This role will be located at Summit Club, set outside of Las Vegas, NV.

Summit Club is seeking a Busser/Runner to join the Food and Beverage Service Department.

As a Busser/Runner at our exclusive and private country club, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our members and their guests. This position demands professionalism, a commitment to excellence, and an unwavering focus on personalized service. Responsibilities include maintaining a clean and well-stocked dining area, delivering food promptly and accurately, and engaging with members in a warm and professional manner. As a representative of the DLC brand, the Busser/Runner must consistently uphold the highest standards of service while maintaining a positive and cheerful demeanor.

• Provide impeccable, personalized service to all members and their guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience.
• Anticipate member and guest needs, addressing requests promptly and professionally.

• Support servers in presenting dishes and ensuring accurate delivery of orders.
• Confirm orders meet dietary preferences or restrictions before serving.

• Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to elegant, fine-dining service standards.
• Support teammates during peak times and assist with side work, such as resetting tables and maintaining cleanliness.

• Work closely with the culinary, management and bar teams to ensure seamless coordination and execution of service.
• Support team members during peak times and assist with side work, including resetting tables and maintaining a clean and organized environment.

• Adhere to all club policies, procedures, and standards.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

• Prior experience in fine dining or a luxury hospitality environment is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on professionalism.
• Familiarity with food, wine, and beverage service is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
• Must possess a valid SNHD health card.
• Common knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices preferred.
• Work requires effective communication in English, both verbal and written form in a professional manner.
• Must present a neat and professional appearance.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Lift and carry trays, plates, and other items weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Maintain stamina during busy service periods.

This position is subject to a 90-day probationary period beginning on the date of hire. During this time, performance and suitability for the role will be assessed. Employment beyond the probationary period is contingent on satisfactory performance and adherence to club standards.

• The compensation for this role is $20.00 per hour + service charges
