Busser/Greeter - Nifty Fifty's

As a Greeter/Busser at Nifty Fifty’s Warminster, you will greet our guest at the door with a smile and warm welcome. You will assist with the overall guest flow of the restaurant. The Greeter/Busser oversees the cleanliness and appearance of our restaurant to provide our guest the true Nifty Fifty’s experience. You will work hard at providing outstanding customer service and making our valued customers feel like a part of our Nifty’s family.

*Please note that we require employees are 16 yrs old+ for this position.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Greet and say Goodbye to all customers as they arrive and depart the restaurant
• Communicate with servers/cashiers to assure efficient seating, table utilization, and customer service
• Accommodate any special needs to guests (highchairs, boosters, disabilities, etc.)
• Manage the wait line while the restaurant is full
• Provide assistance to servers and takeout staff as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized area (menus, crayons, sailor caps, etc.)
• Clear plates, baskets, silverware, and glassware from tables throughout the guests dining experience and after guests leave.
• Clean and maintain all areas of the restaurant (including but not limited to tables, floors, grounds, bathrooms, vestibules, etc.)
• Take items to the dish room and sort in the appropriate areas for washing.
• Empty trash & bus pans throughout shift
• Sweep or mop floors throughout shift
• Assist servers and kitchen staff as needed
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning projects
• Other additional tasks management may need assistance with

Qualifications & Requirements

• Reading, writing, and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to stand for long periods of times.
• Carry objects up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to wipe down tabletops, booths, pick up debris off the floor, sweep floor in all areas of the restaurant.
