Job Title: FOUNDRY GRILL BUSSER

Reports To: Foundry Grill Manager, Assistant Manager and Supervisor

Rate of Pay: $5.00/Hour + tips

Shift: Monday through Sunday, Variable AM and PM shifts

Part Time, Year-Round Positions

MUST BE AVAILABLE WEEKENDS & HOLIDAYS

SUMMARY

Create an exceptional dining experience for the guests by assisting the service staff and supporting the Foundry Grill management and culinary teams.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Warmly greet each guest.

Ensure dining room is set and ready for service to the Sundance standard.

Deliver water (bottled or tap) to guests and refill glasses as needed.

Assist in the service and clearing of food as directed by the server.

Ensure proper sequence of service for all guests.

Reset tables within two minutes of the guest's departure.

Be motivated to stay productive, helpful, and impactful to the guest experience in a positive manner.

Stock service stations and buss trays.

Buff silverware and glasses.

Support the recycling program.

Exhibit job and product knowledge sufficient to provide guests with accurate information in all aspects of food, service, and resort information.

Exhibit self confidence to the degree necessary to handle a variety of situations in a positive and professional manner.

Share the Sundance story of land preservation and environmental commitment as the occasion arises.

Maintain a clean and neat appearance while wearing a complete, wrinkle free, designated uniform and name tag.

Complete pre-service and end of shift side work including cleaning and closing responsibilities.

Work cooperatively with dishwashers ensuring dirty dishes are handled to protocol.

Ensure work is inspected by management prior to departing.

Exhibit a positive attitude when speaking about guests and fellow employees.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Previous food service experience.

Customer service experience.

Prior serving or bussing food service experience in a full service restaurant preferred.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must have or obtain a current food handlers permit within 30 days of employment.
