Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage a fleet of trucks and trailers, ensuring operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Develop and execute strategies to improve profitability and operational effectiveness.
Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and oversee fleet maintenance programs.
Lead, mentor, and manage drivers, supervisors, and dispatchers, promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
Address and resolve customer concerns, adapting operations to meet business needs.
Conduct field inspections, audits, and safety checks to maintain compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company policies.
Prepare and analyze reports to inform business decisions, leveraging critical thinking to optimize outcomes.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience managing fleets and working with end-dump commodities.
5+ years of proven experience in logistics, operations, and fleet management with a history of increasing profitability.
CDL preferred; knowledge of maintenance protocols for trucking fleets required.
Strong understanding of DOT regulations and compliance.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.
Advanced communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
