Job Description:
Functions & Requirements:
1. Constantly researches emerging technologies, to identify opportunities to improve business solutions.
2. Assembles draft requirements documents based on program directives
3. Identifies key differences and notable discussion items for business approval
4. Schedules and facilitates working sessions with appropriate business representatives
5. Present alternative recommendations for business review/approval
6. Publishes Business requirements document
7. Presents business requirements needs to the Functional Design team and IT manager
8. Reviews and approves Functional Specification (design approach)
9. Manages change request to the document
10. Qualifies new requirement request
11. Publishes release strategies
12. Experience creating process diagrams, strong facilitation and communication skills required.
13. Commercial Vehicle industry experience, experience writing use cases and functional specs and knowledge of software development lifecycles a plus, but not required.
14. SCRUM Master, who can manage pipelines for multiple functions using Scrum methodology with little to no supervision.
15. Project management experience, including PMO certification, not required by strongly preferred.
Purpose:
This position is responsible for assembling and facilitating the review and approval of the business requirements; providing information and guidance to the business representatives to ensure the approved requirements will achieve business objectives; reviewing and approving functional specifications, ensuring they align with the business requirements; providing assistance to the IT manager in understanding the requirements and resolving any project conflicts. Accountable for qualifying, recording, and publishing requirements into the master requirements schedule.
Additionally, this position is responsible to identify, analyze, and recommend to customers opportunities to apply emerging technologies for improving or enhancing business processes and solutions; and, to implement any solutions approved by management using best practices from Scrum methodology
