Job Description:
We seek a dynamic professional to fill the role of Business Analyst with healthcare and pharmaceutical industry experience. This role is responsible for owning the end-to-end delivery of a product line, translating business requirements into product features and user stories, and facilitating effective communication among various teams to ensure the successful development and delivery of high-quality products.
The ideal candidate should possess expertise in Healthcare Inventory Management Systems, Data Analysis, and Business Requirements gathering and thrive in an agile environment. A proactive, go-getter mindset, a genuine passion for building exceptional products, empathy toward end users and team members, open communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to adapt to diverse technology environments are critical for success in this role. Additionally, the candidate should be comfortable collaborating with teams across different time zones, including offshore teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirement Management and Documentation:
- Engage stakeholders to determine business needs and evaluate enhancement requests, ensuring alignment with organizational strategies.
- Create comprehensive documentation, including Epics, User Stories, & Mockups/Wireframes, UML diagrams, and business requirements encompassing functional, non-functional, and technical aspects.
- Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys with stakeholders to gather exhaustive requirements, understand needs & problems, and defect triaging.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define project scopes and success criteria.
- Foster a collaborative team environment, encouraging effective communication and shared understanding.
- Conduct & participate in Agile ceremonies, backlog grooming, and reviews.
- Support portfolio management, prioritize projects, and take ownership & optimize the product backlog.
Strategic Planning and Collaboration:
- Establish and maintain effective agreements between team members on requirements to facilitate smooth development processes.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers on defining and refining product roadmaps, budgeting, and resource planning.
- Engage with offshore teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure requirements are met and understood.
- Work with QA teams to develop test plans, verify Sprint tickets, and support the testing process.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and improvement.
- Provide input for enhancing business processes and systems.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Business Analysis and Product Ownership.
- Expertise in Healthcare Inventory Management Systems, Data Analytics, and Business Requirements Gathering.
- Proficiency in Agile methodology.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Adaptability to diverse technology environments and collaboration across different time zones.
- Proficiency in SQL scripting, visualization reporting tools, and Data Warehousing principles.
- Familiarity with development tools such as Atlassian JIRA, Confluence, Requirement Yogi, Visio, and Miro board.
