Our Client is seeking a Business Systems Analyst (SCADA Engineer) to join their team in Spartanburg, SC.
Location: Spartanburg, South Carolina (789 Flatwood Industrial Drive)
Shift: 3rd shift, 8:30 PM – 5:00 AM EST (Fully onsite – no exceptions)
Salary Range: $75,000 - $95,000 (DOE)
Benefits: Comprehensive healthcare plans, generous PTO package, and an 8% annual bonus target
Relocation: Not offered
Travel Requirements: Minimal (<10%), occasional trips to Oshkosh, WI

About the Role:
Our Senior Systems Analyst (SCADA Engineer) will play a key role in developing, enhancing, and supporting the SCADA (Ignition) and MES (Sepasoft) systems for Spartanburg NGDV assembly. The role emphasizes both system enhancements and ensuring daily production uptime.
Your Responsibilities:
- Execute SCADA/MES development and configuration needs using Ignition and Sepasoft platforms.
- Conduct operator training for SCADA/MES systems.
- Provide hands-on production support to ensure SCADA/MES systems are operational during 1st shift.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to design, develop, and implement integration enhancements (PLCs, JDE, etc.).
- Develop functional specifications, test cases, and design documentation.
- Support the creation of controls standards for NGDV operations.
- Analyze system performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain SCADA/MES environment security and ensure data integrity through operational guidelines.
- Develop and modify SCADA/MES systems, including Tag Database generation, report development, and computer configuration.
- Assist in the deployment of additional technologies beyond SCADA/MES as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in a related field.
- Skills in development, documentation, process flows, ITSM, troubleshooting, and configuration.
- Strong written and verbal communication, customer service, and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and align stakeholders effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- Proven development and support experience with Ignition and Sepasoft.
- Familiarity with Rockwell PLCs, Siemens PLCs, OPC-UA, and MQTT protocols.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, Jython, C/C++, Visual Basic, SQL, etc.
- Proficiency in Windows Server administration.
