Job Title: Business Systems Analyst
Location: San Francisco, Santa Monica, New York and Charlotte
Job Type: Contract – 18 Months
Interview Process: Phone then on-site
Rate: DOE (W2/1099 Only)
Qualifications
• 6+ years of experience working with technical teams in translating written requirements into technical specifications
• Background with documentation process for projects (including BRDs, FSDs, change controls)
• Ability to learn new concepts and processes quickly
• Ability to adapt to environments / situations that are not always clearly defined or ambiguous
• Familiarity with various lines of business in the Wholesale group
• Familiarity with cross-sell processes and agreement structures
• Highly efficient at managing large numbers of activities/tasks
• Solid writing skills
• Self-starter with ability to work with limited oversight, solve issues through collaboration
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong presentation skills
• Basic understanding of financial statements and metrics
• This position will focus on the profitability reporting process and the migration of existing functionality into the new ProfitView application.
• The person in this position will act as a liaison between business and technical organization by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of highly complex SOR's and the products and processing therein. The position requires a balance of strong business/finance skills along with a solid understanding of databases and systems and the ability to communicate effectively across groups
Responsibilities
• Proven ability to elicit, analyze, and formalize business and data requirements with a strong understanding of SDLC methodology
• Extensive experience in eliciting data requirements using interviews, document analysis, financial metrics and front end dashboard analysis, scenario analysis, business analysis and process/workflow analysis
• Understand the needs and help manage expectations of profitability and cross-sell platform business needs. Serve as SME to validate the profitability and cross-sell project data requirements and design will meet the overall business needs
• Participate in working sessions with profitability and cross-sell functional leads (metrics, dashboard, cross-functional/process) to transform and develop new requirements
• Work with end-user groups and System of Record SME's (business, operational and technology) and facilitate working sessions to understand the product
