About the Job
The Pru Advisors/Retail Technology Journey needs two technical BSAs to support the Pru Advisors Granite Project. These BSA's will support our data workstream, which is responsible for ingesting bulk data files and events/web-hooks from a vendor's AWS environment. The files and events will be pulled into Pru's AWS environment for data processing internally and to downstream applications. The BSAs should be onshore.
Job Description:
The BSAs will support product owners and technical teams in defining the requirements and stories to support data processing in an AWS environment. The BSAs will be assigned to an Agile Scrum team with a Product Owner, Tech Lead, and Scrum Master. The team will work on features related to AWS Data Processing and the BSA will participate in the design of new systems features, partnering with the product teams and business stakeholders to document the data requirements, conduct analysis to resolve open issues, and to coordinate testing. The candidate should have strong analytical, problem solving, organizational, communication technical writing skills. The team will provide clear professional communications (listening, oral and written communications) as well as strong relationship building and collaboration skills.
Qualifications:
" Strong analytical and communication skills
" Familiarity with Agile practices
" Familiarity with AWS Cloud tools
" Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and DevOps concepts
" Translating business needs into technical requirements.
