Business Systems Analyst from A-Line Staffing Solutions

Position Title: System/Business Analyst

Location: Lansing, MI (Hybrid, 2 days per week onsite)

Rate: $45-55/hr on W-2 (No C2C or third-party candidates)

Experience Requirements:

• 3+ years as a System/Business Analyst with experience in Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions and requirements gathering.
• 2+ years in software testing.
• 1+ year in RDBMS/SQL.
• Preferred: Agile/Scrum experience.
• Preferred: Experience with SAP BO.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Gather requirements, analyze business processes, manage requirements, and conduct software testing.
• Assess “As Is” and “To Be” processes, document gaps, and gather end-user requirements via interviews, focus groups, and stakeholder discussions.
• Organize requirements, create additional specifications to address pain points, and manage documentation (requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, test plans) using tools such as Excel, Word, and Microsoft Azure.
• Lead planning and requirements meetings, support Agile development, and participate in Sprint ceremonies.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications, design solutions, and create wireframes.
• Develop software test plans, participate in QA and regression testing, and conduct user acceptance testing.
• Act as a liaison between business users and development teams, communicating requirements and solutions.
• Provide program management support, develop presentations for client meetings, and document meetings, notes, and action items.
• Basic knowledge of RDBMS, SQL, and Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio.
