JDA Business Systems Analyst
Job Description:
The Senior JDA System Analyst serves as the face of our Global IT Planning Department. Successful candidates elicit and validate business needs, design, develop and launch efficient technology solutions. Activities include gathering and compiling user requirements, developing and analyzing data in support of business cases, projects and systems requirements, in addition to, delivering support, guidance and software configurations ensure efficient and effective utilization of software programs.
Responsibilities:
-This position will focus on solutions required by and delivered for our Global Supply Chain Planning System
-Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems
-Ensure all system control processes are followed and compliant with corporate policies
-Lead solution design sessions for the purpose of enhancing business processes and operations
-Create process models, specifications, diagrams and charts to translate conceptual user requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers/project team
-Collaborate in the design, development and deployment of applications and enhancements
-Provide orientation and training to end users for all modified and new systems
Requirements:
-BS in Information Systems or BA Business Management or related studies or equivalent experience
-5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst
-Experienced supporting JDA Global Supply Chain planning systems; preferably JDA Demand, Fulfillment and Supply
-Experience writing requirements specifications and functional design specifications is required.
-Strong requirements gathering skills (interviewing business and operational users).
-Strong business acumen in supply chain process and systems
-In-depth working knowledge of business processes related to Demand and Fulfillment / Supply Planning
-Strong verbal and written communication. Ability to clearly articulate complex issues/topics
-Ability to prioritize work load, multi task and react quickly to meet business expectations
