About the Job
Performs focused third party risk assessments of existing and new suppliers.
Collaborates with internal teams to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, including recommending risk transfer mechanisms.
Identifies opportunities to improve risk posture, developing solutions for remediating or mitigating risks and assessing the residual risk.
The Supplier Risk Management (SRM) Analyst will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and influencing the management of third-party risks across the organization. This individual will ensure that the organization's vendor portfolio is properly evaluated, assessed, and managed to minimize risk exposure and risk impacts. SRM management will include ensuring that the level of oversight of our third parties are commensurate with the level of risk and complexity of these relationships. This position requires an understanding of regulatory compliance.
Coordinates the identification and classification and tiering of vendors by risks and risk impacts
Manages vendor risks as defined in vendor contracts and in accordance with existing risk management programs, policies, and regulations.
Stays up-to-date with relevant regulatory requirements and ensures that the organization is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Performs other duties as assigned (no more than 5% of duties).
Quals--
2 years of relevant third-party risk management, regulatory compliance, information security, risk management, sustainability, supply chain, and/or audit experience.
Experience with Supplier Management Information Systems.
Relevant experience, preferably in category management, strategic sourcing, business management, project management, data analysis.
Project management experience, including leading teams to deliver a project on time with a high degree of quality.
Ability to interpret and analyze data within complex systems.
Ability to clearly and concisely communicate, both verbally and in written form, information/concepts to all levels including management in both formal and informal settings.
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word).
A demonstrated ability to attain skill development in addition to work duties.
Demonstrated analytical ability (using data to solve operational problems).
Working understanding of utility and/or energy environments, operating procedures, and economics or regulation.
Demonstrated involvement in cross-functional team collaboration.
Preferred qualifications:
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Certified Professional in Supply Management
Financial Risk Manager (FRM) certification
