OPPORTUNITY: BUSINESS SYSTEM ANALYST (YARDI) - SARES REGIS CORPORATE OFFICE/NEWPORT BEACH, CA
Job Summary:
The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for working with business operations to support the current ERP systems (Yardi, JDE and OneSite). The Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for work on support items, on boarding/off boarding of properties for third party management, documentation and support for all business system projects. The Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for leading ERP technical and reporting projects and ensuring they are passed on to the operations team. This position coordinates the efficiency and accuracy of data entered and processed in the ERP systems and other integrated software programs including accounting and financial data, cash collections, purchasing/payments, leasing systems, customer/tenant information, rent rolls, and operational site systems. The Business Systems Analyst will work very closely with the residential operations and corporate JDE group.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Leads the on-boarding and off-boarding tasks in Yardi (Y2Y, ETL) for third party management.
- Creates and manages reports, support items, documentation and support for all existing and new business system projects.
- Assists users in evaluating new technologies and tools and in understanding the technical architecture and design of the application in light of the requirement.
- Translates user requirements into functional specifications for IT.
- Defines and implements requirements for new systems.
- Updates and tracks user requirements throughout a project in response to changing user needs or understanding of the application.
- Onboards new employees in Yardi and other property management systems.
- Creates training documentation and job aids when needed.
- Maintains knowledge to support business applications for the Residential & Commercial Property Development & Management industry.
- Troubleshoots and develops technical solutions related to the software and configure for the company platform and making sure it is in line with company policy and procedures.
- Creates workaround procedures when standard procedures have failed and ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner.
- Provides user administration and maintenance of all end users of property management software and online learning platform.
- Prioritizes, responds to, resolves, and clears help desk tickets; escalating to outside vendors as necessary.
- Maintains current understanding of applications with a high level of user proficiency. Seeks opportunities to maintain knowledge of relevant new software developments and changes.
- Reviews and tests software and hardware for accuracy and consistency with documentation for existing and new systems, identifying problems and suggesting revisions.
Education and Experience:
- 2 - 5 years of related experience and bachelor’s degree or equivalent from four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Other Qualifications:
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, particularly strong MS Excel and Outlook skills.
- Advanced knowledge of Yardi Voyager and other Yardi modules.
- Experience with accounting software including thorough knowledge of report writing tool.
- Advanced understanding of system development methodologies and measurement tools.
Salary range is $95K-$100K. We offer a competitive compensation package that includes a 401(K) match, rental incentive and renewal compensation, bonuses, and rental discounts depending on location. Regular full-time employees who work between 30-40 hours a week are eligible for medical, dental, vision, other voluntary benefits and vacation accrual. Sick time accrual is provided in accordance with law.
