About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Business Systems Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will act as a bridge between business needs and technology solutions, working to improve business processes and systems. You will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business challenges, and implement effective system solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Gather, document, and analyze business requirements from stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Evaluate and recommend enhancements or changes to existing business systems and processes.
- Design and document workflows, process improvements, and system specifications.
- Work closely with IT teams to develop, test, and deploy system changes and upgrades.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful implementation of business systems.
- Conduct impact assessments and gap analyses to identify areas for optimization.
- Create training materials and provide end-user support for implemented systems.
- Troubleshoot system issues and collaborate with technical teams to resolve them.
- Monitor and evaluate system performance, recommending adjustments as needed.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and trends to identify opportunities for innovation.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in business systems analysis or a related role.
- Strong understanding of business processes and system workflows.
- Experience with ERP, CRM, or other enterprise software systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMP (Project Management Professional).
- Experience in system integration and API design.
- Knowledge of data governance and compliance regulations.
- Familiarity with business process modeling tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).
