Business Solutions Architect
Overview: A Business Solutions Architect will focus on translating business goals, client needs, and project requirements into scalable and impactful technology solutions. This role ensures that systems, data, and processes are structured to support both immediate and future initiatives, including AI and advanced analytics. The position involves gathering requirements, coordinating cross-functional teams, overseeing technical architecture, and delivering solutions that improve client experience and internal operations.
Responsibilities
· Solution Strategy & Design: Elicit and translate business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements by working with project managers, engineers, IT, and leadership. Develop a holistic vision for client-facing and internal solutions (e.g., client portals, data repositories, knowledge management frameworks, AI pilots).
· Technical Leadership: Provide guidance on solution architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and security. Oversee third-party collaborations or partnerships for emerging technologies when needed.
· Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Conduct interviews and requirements-gathering sessions with key stakeholders to define project goals and system specifications. Coordinate cross-functional teams (IT, Applied Technologies, project managers) and serve as the liaison between technical developers and non-technical stakeholders.
· Innovation & Data Governance: Establish best practices for data governance, data management, and knowledge management to support future AI or analytics initiatives. Monitor industry trends (AI, ML, large language models) and recommend strategic investments to enhance the company’s value proposition.
· Implementation & Delivery: Oversee the full product or solution lifecycle, from design to deployment and ongoing optimization. Conduct technical reviews and quality assurance to ensure solutions meet or exceed expectations.
· Client-Focused Solutions: Drive the creation of client portals or interactive platforms that improve project transparency and customer experience. Identify opportunities for revenue growth or cost savings through technology-enabled services (e.g., data analytics, digital twins, AI-driven insights).
· Documentation & Knowledge Transfer: Develop comprehensive documentation for technical specifications and system diagrams. Coordinate user training to ensure smooth adoption of new technologies.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
· 7–10+ years of progressive experience in product management, solutions architecture, or business analysis within technology or consulting environments
· Demonstrated background in managing data-driven projects (e.g., data governance, enterprise knowledge management)
· Experience leading cross-functional teams and coordinating complex software or digital transformation projects from requirements to delivery
· Familiarity with enterprise software platforms, cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, etc.), and web/mobile-based portals
· Exposure to AI or ML frameworks and use cases is a plus
· Understanding of microservices architecture, integration patterns, and APIs
· Exemplary communication and stakeholder management abilities, translating complex technology concepts into business language
· Strong problem-solving mindset and consulting approach to align solutions with organizational objectives
