Business/Securities Litigation Associate Needed!

We are seeking an experienced litigator for a permanent position at an esteemed full-service law firm in Chicago. The successful candidate must be licensed in Illinois, and have 5+ years of litigation experience in business and commercial finance litigation (preferably securties), and related litigation.

The successful candidate will have experience in conducting legal research, preparation of pleadings, drafting and responding to discovery, taking and defending depositions, making court appearances, mediating disputes and trial preparation and excecution. 

Qualifications & Skills:

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Licensed and in good standing with the Illinois Bar
• 5+ years of business or commercial finance litigation experience in state and federal courts
• Demonstrated ability to manage all aspects of litigation (discovery, depositions, motions, case management, trial prep)
• Excellent legal research and writing skills
• Strong communication and advocacy skills
• Experience with securities litigation a plus
• Must have sophisticated trial skills
