Job Description: The firm is seeking an experienced Business Real Estate Attorney to join its thriving practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling complex real estate transactions and business matters, including acquisitions, leasing, financing, and development. This is a unique opportunity for an attorney to take on a leadership role and work closely with clients in a fast-paced, high-profile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in all aspects of business real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing.
- Draft, negotiate, and review a wide variety of legal documents, including purchase agreements, lease agreements, loan documents, and development contracts.
- Advise clients on land use, zoning, and other real estate-related legal matters.
- Provide counsel on corporate governance, business entity formation, and mergers and acquisitions as they relate to real estate holdings.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to develop and implement effective legal strategies to achieve clients' goals.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal real estate laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school in California.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in business real estate transactions and related legal matters.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in California real estate law, including experience with commercial leasing, acquisitions, and financing.
- Excellent negotiation and drafting skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing a complex caseload.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and colleagues.
