The Business Program Manager, Product Evolution & Innovation will sit on the newly formed Product Evolution & Innovation team in the HLS sector, reporting to Customer Success Organization (CSO) and Program Management Leader (CSO) with role visibility to the Vice President, Portfolio Evolution & Incubation. This team will play a critical role in defining new paths for existing products, in line with the mission for continuous innovation. As the Business Program Manager, you will be working closely with the various leaders from operations to strategy & incubation to customer success and engineering. As we collectively manage a suite of solutions and work to optimize our portfolio, the Business Program Manager will proactively identify and execute programs to ensure cohesive management across and within line functions, across Microsoft, and with the marketplace. You will support change management activities and proactively close gaps in coordination, communication, as well as drive employee engagement and team culture given an ever-evolving set of tasks that require that the team is well prepared to manage through ambiguity.

**Responsibilities**
**Program Management & Business Insights**
+ Defines standards, best practices, and ways of working for the broader team
+ Coordinating end-to-end completion on projects prioritized by Strategy & Incubation team, including clear reporting on the progress of each project against deadlines and deliverables
+ Leads the rhythm of business (ROB) during plan execution to ensure participants and stakeholders are communicating and responding according to the necessary cadence. Leads others to work across teams (e.g., Engineering, Finance, Customer Success Organization (CSO)) to ensure all program requirements are understood and can be met
+ Leads the synthesis and reporting of Key Performance Indicators across product workstreams to derive insights that help identify current and future program risks and mitigation plans, as well as opportunities to streamline and optimize programs based on lessons learned
**Stakeholder Management**
+ Establish a cadence with the team to foster sense of community, and define course correcting measures as needed to improve morale
+ Engage with a broad network of stakeholders regularly from CSO, Product and Engineering to understand their needs, address concerns, and build buy-in for proposed changes
**Change Management &** **Communications**
+ Set communication strategy by developing a clear and effective communication plan and crafting communications around progress and key decisions.
+ Draft transition plans tied with key product decisions, to help transition people and processes for products that are being shifted, divested, or wound down
+ Influences stakeholders to adopt the new program or change by others in the organization
+ Effectively communicate at all levels, from corporate VPs to partner-demonstrating impact and influence across different roles and organizations
**Qualifications**
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in program management, project management, or consulting
+ OR equivalent experience.
**Preferred Qualificaitons**
+ Ability to communicate at an executive level through visual, written, and verbal communication within a global context, technical and non-technical
+ Project management, leadership, and cross-group collaboration skills. Proven ability to prioritize, plan, and execute
+ Ability to build trust with internal and external partners through quality delivery and integrity.
+ Demonstrate the ability to learn and apply learning to improve business outcomes, positive impact for the team and self.
+ You have demonstrated strategic framing skills to create alignment between engineering, product marketing, and business owners??

+ You work independently and effectively as part of a broad team, and drive successful outcomes with virtual teams??
+ Experience in and understanding of Microsoft Ways of Working
Product Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $133,600 - $256,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $173,200 - $282,200 per year.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
