Commercial Program Manager

The Commercial Program Manager provides business-process and flooring installations management for an established set of customer verticals within the Empire Today for Business division. The position is directly responsible for ensuring planned flooring projects complete on-time, within budget and to specification. Commercial Program Managers are expected to successfully oversee a range of tactical responsibilities from engaging and managing stakeholders, mitigating installations and financial risk to delivering a standard of Customer Service that is worthy of the Empire mission of making beautiful new floors easy.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the general management of all national account business within the assigned area.
- Manage operating systems, budgets, resources and timelines together with customer and internal support-staff.
- Regularly connects with customer Project Managers and Buyers to get a sense of the wider context that surrounds goals and performance expectations.
- Reviews outcomes to identify opportunities for improvement in systems, processes and installations; optimize operating model to increase the likelihood of success and reduce the impact of risk.
- Routinely monitors available reporting and data in an effort to reduce project reschedules, cancelations while increasing overall performance efficiencies.
- Coordinate and document client-approved project change-orders in such a manner as to sufficiently detail its effect on scope, schedule and budget.
- Monitors program accounts to identify delinquent payments and takes appropriate and timely action to reconcile.
- Facilitate the resolution of service issues as needed; acting as liaison between client and company.
- Performs other duties as requested or assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience developing and managing account relationships.
- Proficient computer skills with fluency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work in a team fostered environment.
- Ability to work in a dynamic multi-tasked environment.
- Ability to prioritize, set priorities and meet deadlines.
