Business Professional - Business Analyst - Mastech Digital

Mastech Digital provides digital and mainstream technology staff as well as Digital Transformation Services for all American Corporations. We are currently seeking a BusinessProfessional - Business Analyst for our client in the Professional Services domain. Duration: 3+ Months Contract

Location: Sacramento, California (Hybrid)

Salary: As per Market Standards

Primary Skills: Business Analysis

Role Description: As a Business Professional - Business Analyst, you must have at least 6+ years of experience. 

Skills:

- Basic Accounting skills.

- Basic Reporting skills.

- Experience using Excel formulas, with a high preference of either of the following: SQL, Alteryx, Power Query (including BI), or advanced Excel (VBA) or Excel function experience.

Nice to Have: 

- Experience with either of the following: Cost Management Systems, ERPs, Project Portfolio Management Systems.

Tasks:

- Review process and procedures for comparing two data exports.

- Structure data export from one system to align with the data export of the other system.

- Develop a streamlined/ automated/ efficient method of comparing the two data sets and noting any differences between the two.

- Track and document each variance and coordinate with stakeholders to corroborate information and develop action plans to resolve variances.

- Summarize the information from the analysis in two ways: A) High level executive presentation, and B) Detailed tactical level.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent

Experience: Minimum 6+ years of experience

Relocation: This position will not cover relocation expenses

Note: Must be able to work on a W2 basis (No C2C)
