Position Description:
LCG is seeking a Business Process Analyst who will play a pivotal role in the finding creative solutions to simplify business processes. This employee will be involved in a client innovation roadmap, utilizing their expertise to analyze, recommend, and implement improvements in business processes. This position requires a proactive approach to leveraging emerging technologies and fostering a culture of innovation to enhance service delivery and operational excellence.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead comprehensive analysis of operational and performance data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for enhancement.
- Facilitate requirement gathering sessions with stakeholders to align business objectives with process improvements.
- Establish and maintain governance frameworks for innovation initiatives, ensuring compliance with client policies and standards.
- Develop and execute effective communication strategies to inform stakeholders of process changes, project updates, and outcomes, ensuring clarity and engagement.
- Spearhead the development and piloting of innovative solutions, employing agile methodologies to iterate and refine concepts based on stakeholder feedback.
- Develop detailed process documentation, including flowcharts, process maps, and technical specifications, to communicate current and future state processes effectively.
- Propose and implement changes to enhance operational efficiency, service quality, and profitability across client programs.
- Oversee project planning and execution, including resource allocation, timeline management, and deliverable tracking, ensuring alignment with client strategic initiatives.
- Design, manage, and execute quality assurance (QA) processes, including creating test plans, developing test cases, and conducting tests to validate process improvements.
- Conduct hands-on testing of process changes and enhancements to ensure they meet defined business and technical requirements.
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) efforts, working with end users to ensure that new processes and system changes meet business needs and operational goals.
- Design and develop comprehensive training programs and materials to facilitate the adoption of new processes and technologies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in business process analysis, project management, or a related field, with a proven track record of leading complex initiatives.
- Excellent creative thinking skills is required.
- Strong understanding of emerging technologies, including AI/ML and cloud-based solutions.
- Ability to craft precise and effective prompts to maximize the use of AI tools.
- General understanding of Generative AI and its practical applications in a client environment, with a focus on driving organizational and customer adoption.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively use Microsoft 365 Copilot to enhance productivity in day-to-day tasks, including drafting process documentation, generating reports, summarizing meeting notes, and preparing presentations.
- Capability to guide team members in leveraging Microsoft 365 Copilot tools to improve collaboration and streamline workflows.
Compensation and Benefits
The projected compensation range for this position is $96,000 to $125,300 per year benchmarked in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. The target salary is $113,000. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Salary at LCG is determined by various factors, including but not limited to role, location, the combination of education/training, knowledge, skills, competencies, certifications, and work experience.
