Overview:Mission critical strategic and tactical role that serves as a trusted advisor to the corporate Chief Growth Officer (CGO), and key liaison to the Sector CGOs, national and sector business development, corporate growth teams, and other shared services groups including Finance, Procurement, IT, ERP/Deltek Vision, HR, and Legal. The corporate growth function comprises of National Business Development (NBD), Marketing and Communications (Marcom), Strategic Proposals Group (SPG) and Sales Enablement (Business Intelligence, CRM/Salesforce). This position reports to the corporate CGO.
This position plays a key role in supporting the team's strategic decision-making processes by providing relevant data, insights, and analyses. Their work serves as a foundation for formulating strategies, identifying new opportunities, and making informed business decisions regarding our growth accounts. The role acts as the backbone of strategic initiatives, providing data-driven insights required for effective decision-making. Their work not only informs the direction of business development efforts but also contributes to optimizing strategies for growth and competitiveness
Responsibilities:Market Research and Client Analysis
- Collaborate with the Business Intelligence team to evaluate industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscapes to better understand the markets and clients we serve.
- Working with our account and Finance teams, gather and analyze data on current and potential clients to understand their needs, preferences, buying habits, and pain points, enabling the development of targeted strategies and sales engagement.
- Manage processes and activities around growth clients, communicating insights to the broader organization.
Performance Analysis and Strategic Planning
- Support developing and managing the strategic and business planning process, key growth initiatives, and KPIs to measure and drive success.
- Analyze key management metrics such as NSR, hard and soft backlog, integrated solutions, gross margin, and DSO for NBD and sector growth accounts.
- Utilize analysis and insights to support the Go-To-Market (GTM) process by identifying successful areas for potential business development strategies and opportunities.
- Measure the performance of business development activities, such as the effectiveness of sales strategies, partnership deals, and ROI of sales and marketing campaigns.
- Track and report on the annual plan versus actual performance for all revenue components, supporting continuous improvement actions.
Business Administration, Reporting, and Presentation
- Partner with the corporate CGO and growth team to develop and manage the budget, assess forecasting, trends, and variances to ensure alignment with the annual plan.
- Manage vendor contracts and invoicing for all functional areas within the corporate growth team.
- Develop and manage data and content for regular NBD, ELT, Growth Leadership Team, Board of Directors, and Senior Advisors meetings, and other ad-hoc requests for investors, M&A activities, etc.
- Ensure all required document preparation and research is complete and submitted on time for stakeholder meetings with necessary backup data.
- Translate data and analysis into understandable and actionable information for the business development team and senior management.
Tools and Technologies
- Utilize data-driven approaches to identify opportunities for process improvements, revenue optimization, cost efficiencies, pipeline management, and forecasting.
- Leverage advanced tools and technologies for data collection, data analysis, and visualization to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of analyses.
- Administer marketing automation platforms, manage CRM systems, and ensure data management and hygiene practices.
- Partner with corporate CGO, Sales Enablement, Finance, and IT to identify and implement technology solutions, improve efficiency using automation, AI, and consistent use of company dashboards and reports.
- Support CRM (Salesforce) and ERP (Deltek/Vision) teams with implementing consistent processes, data integrity, design configuration, integration, and validation between systems.
Communications and Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with other team members, including sales, marketing, operations, and external partners (including investors), to provide analytical support and insights ensuring all strategies are aligned.
- Provide consistent impactful communication to staff and key stakeholders, managing confidential and sensitive information on organization, initiatives, and projects.
Strategic Initiatives and Special Projects
- Lead or contribute to strategic initiatives and support new growth priorities.
- Support M&A activities providing data and insights during the due-diligence and integration process.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Math, Finance, Economics or Business
Experience
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience in general management, FP&A type of role, sales/business or revenue operations, sales enablement, data analytics and reporting.
- Exposure and understanding of financial/fiscal management and project accounting.
- Extensive knowledge of Excel and Microsoft suite of applications; working knowledge of Salesforce, ERP, BI tools (Tableau and other analytical software) a strong plus.

Personal Skills
- Ability to work at strategic and tactical levels in a fast-paced PE-backed environment.
- Strong ability to manage multiple deliverables, even in the face of some ambiguity.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to communicate advanced analytical concepts and complex quantitative analysis in a concise, clear, and actionable manner.
- Strong interpersonal/negotiation skills, to include conflict resolution; demonstrated skills in systematic problem solving. Must be able to manage conversations with C-Suite with ease and confidence.
- Initiative-taker who requires minimum supervision with sound organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead people through influence, including the ability to work with diverse skill sets in a team environment supporting common goals.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or other master’s level qualification.
- Experience working for a consulting services firm.
- Experience leading cross functional teams, supervising and developing staff.
Other (Including Certifications Needed):
- Travel Requirements – 10% of time, primarily domestic.
- TRC teams span all of US, but mostly East Coast, so some early morning ET zone calls.
- Job Location – Can be located anywhere in the US, prefer close to a TRC office.

Compensation: Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.
Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company’s annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
