Overview
Princeton University Campus Recreation seeks to improve the health and well-being of the University community through the core principles of fitness and wellness, healthy competition, lifelong skill development, and community-building. Campus Recreation provides educational and leadership opportunities through instructional programs, intramural activities, sport club teams, and student employment for diverse levels of skill and ability.
Reporting to the Assistant Director of Campus Recreation, Business Operations, this role is responsible for the daily operations of the Business Office. This includes providing oversight of registration system sales at both the Class of 1986 Fitness & Wellness Center and the Wilkinson Fitness Center in the Racquet and Recreation Fieldhouse; customer service to patrons; assisting with daily business operations; assist in implementing a business and marketing plan for membership sales; assisting with the coordination of Campus Recreation meetings and events; as well as additional office support duties. This position supports all areas of Campus Recreation as needed, and is a hub for Campus Recreation operations.

Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to all patrons via phone, e-mail and in-person by being a knowledgeable source of information about all areas.
- Assist with daily business operations, including daily deposits for all sales in the registration system; troubleshooting sales issues; and compiling monthly membership reports.
- Assist with the processing of Sport Club deposits.
- Assist with Summer Camp registration and reporting.
- Assist with the setting up and management of the racquet court availability in the registration system.
- Assist in the development of marketing strategies related to membership sales for Campus Recreation, which includes tracking retention data and recruitment of new members.
- Assist with the maintenance of the Campus Recreation website.
- Assist in the planning and management of department-wide special events, which may include departmental retreats, TeamRec gatherings, and alumni events.
- Responsible for the training and monitoring of the information provided to the building managers in regards to the registration system and financial policies.
- Act as liaison to several areas on and off campus (i.e. Canon copier, Caldwell Fieldhouse, etc.).
- Order office supplies through Marketplace, maintain copy room supplies and handle mail distribution.
Qualifications
- HS diploma or GED required
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Highly organized and ability to multi-task
- CPR, First Aid, and AED certification
- Proficient with MS office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Bachelor's degree preferred
