Job Description
Accumulus is seeking a Business Operations Analyst. This will be an exciting role within the Business Operations Team, working directly with the Regulatory Innovation Program Manager and the Growth Program Manager.
Starting day one, you will have the unique opportunity to support the growth of Accumulus Synergy by working closely with the Regulatory Innovation and Growth functions, core pillars of the Accumulus team. In this generalist role, you will support driving efficiency, project management, and decision-making within both functions. This is a great opportunity for you to get broad exposure to the work at Accumulus, supporting multiple functions while honing your project management, communication, and analytical skills.
Responsibilities
- Support strategic engagement models with health authorities, trade associations, platform subscribers and members, and other advocacy groups
- Create content to support internal and external engagement (e.g., conference presentations, membership subcommittee meetings, etc.)
- Document notes and action items from internal and external meetings
- Conduct research and analysis on pressing issues and topics
- Assist with the execution of achievable work plans across the Regulatory Innovation and Growth functions that can be integrated across the broader organization
- Support Regulatory Innovation, Growth, and cross-functional team meeting cadences
- Manage upwards to the appropriate accountable leaders to drive on-time delivery of critical organizational milestones
- Escalate critical risks and issues for leadership team review and action, with an ability to bring perspective on potential solutions to the identified risks and issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum 2 years previous work experience
- Demonstrated interest in the healthcare / life sciences industries
- Proven strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to manage and prioritize workload demands
- Experience operating in an ambiguous, fast-paced start-up environment
- Self-starter orientation and ability to effectively influence across a matrixed organization
- Outstanding time management and organizational skills, with an ability to consistently execute multiple, sometimes competing, activities to a high quality and timely conclusion
- Ability to see the connections between seemingly disparate issues, as well as distill complex and sometimes voluminous content into clear and concise verbal and written communications
- Experience in dealing effectively with organizations and individuals representing widely divergent backgrounds, points of view, and levels of authority
- Preferred, not required:
- Project Management Institute (PMI) credentials (e.g., CAPM, PMP)
- Previous experience with life science organizations (LSOs)
- Previous experience with regulatory authorities and / or industry trade organizations (e.g., EFPIA, PhRMA)
- Previous management consulting experience (strategy, operations, etc.)
- Knowledge of Smartsheet, Confluence, Slack, Microsoft Office, etc.
