Business Office Specialist
JOB SUMMARY
Assist the business office with all accounting functions, receivables and other described business office functions. Responsible for the financial processing of transactions, vehicle deals, and billing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyzing workflow processing
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors
- Scan supporting documents into the accounting system
- Filing as needed
- Administrative functions as needed/requested
- Assist with funding from lenders when necessary for Greeley dealership location
- Review and reconcile general ledger accounts including, but not limited to Contracts Payable, Sublet Payable, and others as assigned
- Finalize (cap) deals into accounting system and scan deals into the document management system
- Review deals for missing details
- Manage American Assurance Company accounts/remits (i.e.: VSC, GAP, ETP, WTW, TLB)
- Bank Deposits entries for cash, check, credit cards
- Manage deferred downs for all stores & 1st payment calls for Greeley location
- Create Deal jackets for all inventory
- Record journal entries.
- Validate monthly the deal jackets vs. current inventory
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Prior Title Clerk experience
- Working knowledge/understanding of the titling requirements and DMV rules and regulations
- Familiarity with documents associated with the purchase and sale of motor vehicles
- Knowledge of CO sales tax codes and regulations
- Computer proficient and has the ability to learn and use multiple software systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Detail-oriented and well organized
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record
- Associates Degree in accounting preferred
- Minimum two-year previous AP experience
- Proficiency in using multiple software systems (ie. Quickbooks Online, AutoFluent, DealerCenter,Dealer Track, & Microsoft Office).
- Knowledge of Dealership Accounting Principles
- Knowledge of Job Cost Accounting Principles
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Position requires the ability to sit and work at a computer, maneuver from one work area to another, bend, squat, and manipulate small objects
- Involves lifting 50 lbs or less, maneuvering boxes, and climbing stairs

- This is an hourly position, which requires regular attendance at the Greeley dealership during normal business hours, which ranges from 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday
- Potential overtime (depending on workload) on the last 2 days of the month & the first 2 days of the month.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
