Some of the Essential Functions:
- Manages the facility's accounting functions under the general supervision of the Executive Director.
- Monitors and engages in efforts to collect outstanding accounts receivables. Determines when delinquent accounts should be categorized as "bad debt" and advises Executive Director.
- Provides HR support to the entire community
- Performs financial recordkeeping such as recording payments received, writing receipts, and making bank deposits.
- Ensures that admission agreements are obtained from all new patients and are properly completed and signed.
- Knowledgeable in the use of computers, e-mail, spreadsheets and document word processing.
- Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or its equivalent. Associate Degree in business or related field preferred.
- Must have, as a minimum, 2 year(s) experience in healthcare financial administration. Supervisory experience strongly preferred.
