Business Office Manager must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment, multi-task and serve our residents with compassion, nurture, respect and care.
The Business Office Manager position will develop, implement and maintain systems to operate our facilities business office in the most effective and efficient manner. Must comply with federal, state, and city requirements.
Business Office Manager responsibilities include:
· Daily supervision of the business office staff
· Responsible for input of all cash, lab, pharmacy and radiology charges
· Review off all reports as well as coordinating the aging report on a bi-weekly basis and the resulting collection efforts
· Complete Med A & Med B billing, therapy logs, follow up on rejections and/or denials
· Evaluate the accounts receivable & remittance on a weekly basis
· Assure maintenance of accurate resident census
· Supervisory account payable and business office assistant
· Other duties as assigned
Necessary skills:
Must have knowledge of Medicaid & Medicare, must have previous experience in a nursing home setting, must have supervisory skills, excellent organization, communication and aggressive.
