The Business Office Manager will:
- Oversee the Business Office Operations for the facility including collections, Medicaid Pending Accounts, AR reviews, etc.
- Work closely with facility staff for accounts receivable resolution, resident trust reconciliation and analysis.
- Evaluate the accuracy and completeness of information for claim submission.
- Process monthly billing including electronic transmission (or paper submission if required) of claims to third party payers.
- Track authorizations for services when appropriate for third party billing.
- Monitor claims processing and payments.
- Assist with Medicaid applications including renewals.
- Monitor recorded payments and adjustments within the billing system.
- Prepare and submit claims to third party payers, both in paper and electronic format.
- Perform collections in accordance with established facility procedures.
- Maintain centralized billing files in an organized and consistent manner.
- Document process and communications within the billing system on all claims/activities.
- Manage a high volume of complex financial data that requires accurate data entry and reconciliation.
- Ensure compliance with regulations surrounding billing/payment.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; participating in team development.
- Ensure integrity and confidentiality of all patient and client financial data.

Requirements:
- BA degree in Accounting or Business is preferred.
- Previous experience with Medicare billing in a Skilled Nursing Facility business office setting with specific billing/collecting and patient trust accounting experience.
- Point Click Care (PCC) billing system experience preferred.
- Experience using Excel, Power point, and Word
