We are currently looking to hire a Business Office Manager at our Skilled Nursing Facility in Watertown, MA! Great company offering competitive pay!
The Business Office Manager has the responsibility of assisting families with the Medicaid Application process, verifying insurances, follow up on Private pay and payments. If you are looking for a great opportunity for growth, a warm working environment-this role is for you!
Candidates must have a working knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid Payers and eligibility within the scope of a Skilled Nursing Facility. Prior experience with Point Click Care and excel a plus
DUTIES:
- Meeting with residents/families to discuss their financial obligations
- Assist with gathering of documentation for Medicaid applicants
- Inputting of census information into billing and clinical software
- Collection of private and income monies owed to the facility
- Assist with the insurance authorization process
- Distribute resident funds
- Ensure that all admission agreements are signed
- Other duties as required
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and HMO processes is a plus
- High comfort level to meet with residents/families to discuss and advise on their financial obligations
- Must be computer literate, and proficient in Microsoft Office
- Should be highly detailed and organized
