Job Description: Business Office Manager
To supervise, coordinate and perform business office functions under the direction of the Adminstrator in accordance with sound accounting practices.
Maintains past duie per bed and Day Sales Outstanding within established guidelines; pursues past duie accounts consistently and maintains proger back-up documentation; obtains and submits all required documentation to bill thierd-party payers as per program/facility guidelines; accurately bills room and board ancilary charges; resolves all problem collections and advises management within established time fram; takes action to prevent accounts from becoming past due.
Ensures ogoing compliance with all laws and regulations; ensure taht the company meets or exceeds accreditation standards; and oversee implementation of "best apractices" in all Company activities. Participate in Quality Improvement activities as assigned. Participate in surveys conducted by authorized inspeciton agencies.
