RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS
Sunrise Senior Living-ARLINGTON, MA- Business Office Coordinator
If you are a motivated team player with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and be comfortable juggling both Human Resources and Business Office tasks- then the Business Office Coordinator (BOC) position is the right career move for you! Reporting to the Executive Director, the BOC fills a vital role, coordinating and performing key business processes at the community level. This individual assists the community leadership’s drive for desired business results utilizing programs, processes, practices and engagement behaviors of Sunrise. The Business Office Coordinator (BOC) is responsible for:
- In partnership with Corporate Support Services- coordinate billing and accounting services (for residents and vendors)
- Following monthly accounting calendar to ensure all financial data expectations and deadlines are met
- Processing bi-weekly payroll
- Maintaining personnel information of team members
- Follow proper office organization standards and record retention
- Assist with overseeing recruitment and hiring
- Championing the team member on-boarding and welcome orientation process
- Partnering with the Executive Director and other leaders to encourage strong team member engagement, morale and spirit
- Knowledge and coordination of Team Member benefits programs
- Tracking and communication of Team Member required training, medical physicals, certifications, and Sunrise/State required trainings
- Tracking and communication of Team Member annual performance appraisals
An Associate’s or bachelor’s degree is desired. Candidates must possess a dedication to seniors and a positive can-do attitude, along with demonstrated skills in these applications or similar:
- Sound financial/business acumen
- Microsoft Office functions (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Kronos (time keeping)
- PeopleSoft (Invoice management/accounts payable)
- Point Click Care (Resident Care and Billing)
Compensation, Benefits, ScheduleThis full-time position includes a competitive compensation and benefits package.
Starting salary range is $75,000 to $80,000 based on experience.
The BOC will receive extensive Sunrise general and BOC specific training.
Typically, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, some holidays and weekends may be necessary. BOC is part of the Leadership Team and will occasionally be a Manager-on-Duty.
