Business Office Assistant - PACS

White Blossom Care Center is a skilled nursing facility located in San Jose, CA, is looking for Business Office Assistant.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Medi-Cal billing, with the skills necessary to improve our current billing procedures and reduce A/R days. The successful applicant will work on a number of tasks requiring data analysis, and in-depth evaluation. We offer excellent benefits, generous paid time off and competitive compensation.

Business Office Assistant Responsibilities

• Manage Medi-Cal and Managed Medi-Cal Billing
• Perform posting charges and completion of claims to payers in a timely fashion
• Work claims and claim denials to ensure maximum reimbursement for services provided
• Perform Medi-Cal reviews and audits
• Complete and audit Treatment Authorization Requests

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years' experience as a Medical /Medicare billing
• Strong knowledge of MS Access
• Familiarity with PCC, Medi-Cal, and Central California Alliance for Health
