Schedule: Monday to Friday (8:30 AM to 5:00 PM)

What You Will Do:
- Assist with patient billing by ensuring accurate and timely submission of claims
- Process insurance claims and follow up on denied or unpaid claims
- Maintain financial records and ensure they are organized and up to date
- Coordinate with the admissions department to ensure accurate patient information and financial arrangements
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from patients and their families regarding billing and insurance issues
- Conduct audits to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year experience in an healthcare administrative role, specifically within a Skilled Nursing facility
- Proven skills with computers including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of medical billing and coding processes
- Familiarity with insurance claim submission
- Knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations is a plus
