Position Summary:

Directs departmental business activities for Surgical Services. The Operating Room at Northwest Hospital consists of 6 OR rooms and 1 endo suite in the main OR, and 4 ORs and 1 endo suite in the SurgiCenter. Performs/oversees business planning, monitoring case costs, supply purchasing, vendor relations and implementing policies and procedures. Collaborates with Director on operational needs, implementing planned changes, preparing annual budget, trend analysis and business operations. Use of various surgical data analytics and business systems including Tableau, Excel, ORBC, Cerner SurgiNet, etc. Monitors multi-million dollar capital and operational budgets. Education/Experience:

• Basic professional knowledge; equivalent to Bachelor's degree; Masters Preferred.
• Analytics experience required; Clinical Informatics preferred.
• Experience managing capital equipment and departmental budgets. 
• 1-3 years of experience
