About the Job
Responsibilities include:
The Business Manager (BM) reports to the Program Manager and directs contracts, procurements, subcontracts management, and manages all financial aspects of the contract to include cost estimating, analysis, and reporting. The BM manages accounting functions in the accounting system (contract funding, timekeeping, accounts payable, and open commitments). The BM is the interface with government to verify consistency of contract accounting. The BM manages personnel in the business office and Team SLI business system infrastructure.

Qualifications include:
- Minimum bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Direct experience with management of people and programs for cross utilization and cross training facility personnel is preferred.
- Experience with developing and managing contract teams in a seamless, integrated, badge less manner Is preferred.
- Direct experience with program management in a performance-based contract environment is preferred.
- Direct experience with implementing organizational change, close partnering with customers in an operations environment to initiate change is preferred.
- Track record of initiating process improvements and cost reductions, and history of successfully managing schedules and budgets in an operations environment is preferred.
- U.S. Citizenship required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance as required.
