DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Partner with the Private Bank Regional Head of Investments for LATAM and Global Families Group to develop strategic growth initiatives for the business. Oversee the development of strategic business plans, and prepare for business reviews. Implement processes to help achieve strategic business objectives that ensure ongoing efficiency. Partner with CFO and the Private Bank Regional Head of Investments to identify, propose, and achieve funding for business project improvements. Assist control partners to implement ongoing business operations and regulatory matters. Drive ongoing enhancements and modifications to internal sales management processes. Track recurring themes of client issues to reduce escalations and improve timely resolutions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, Management Consulting, Business, Economics, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Business Management, Investment Business Manager, Strategic Projects Manager/Advisor, Management Consultant, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, Management Consulting, Business, Economics, or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Business Management, Investment Business Manager, Strategic Projects Manager/Advisor, Management Consultant, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: designing and implementing strategic business operating models with multiple stakeholders; investment products available to international clients, specifically brokerage securities, discretionary accounts, and managed accounts, including Alternatives (PERE) and UCITS (mutual funds); considering what investment products can be offered to international client given their characteristics, how they are priced, limitations, and tax implications; investments-related regulatory rules in the U.S. that are applicable to Private Bank international clients including OCC part 9, Reg BI, Suitability, Reg S, Reg D, CFTC, and Dodd Frank; understanding complex client tax and SEC status in order to advise on suitable investment products and services; cross-border regulatory rules and specific jurisdictional requirements for Private Bank clients based in Latin America, Europe, and Asia; project management for strategy-driven projects; conducting operational efficiency review on system/transformation projects; and managing multi- jurisdictional teams.
Job Location: 1450 Brickell Avenue, Miami, FL 33131. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
