Business & Logistics Manager with Additive Technologies LLC (Palm City, FL)
Direct AddiTec's production and manufacturing operations by monitoring, developing, and implementing operational plans to improve workflow and business operations. Engage in resource planning for the manufacturing facility and applications team, based on the budgetary allocation and availability. Develop monthly and quarterly budgets based on business operation metrics including production, logistics, warehouse, and accounting. Provide stakeholder input to executive management in strategic business planning and implementation. Streamline processes across the different business operations to ensure satisfaction of key performance indicators. Provide directives to the Logistics, Human Resources & Financing departments of the business. Ensure that the business operations are compliant with both State and local business requirements. Develop and implement plans to substantiate the business presence in the local manufacturing community and business councils. Integrate, track, and monitor systems critical for business operations, including inventory and warehouse management, asset management, and customer relationship management. Strengthen the Supply Chain of the business by hiring and managing Supply Chain Controllers, Procurement Specialists, Warehouse Controllers, and Production Managers. Establish and strengthen the business relationship with financial institutions to develop the financial tools required for business growth. Define and implement inventory management processes with supplementary tools to optimize inventory use, improve traceability, and avoid inventory record discrepancies. And identify, develop & manage key business vendor and supplier relationships.
Supervises 6 employees, including: 1 Logistics Coordinator, 1 Application Manager, 1 AM Engineer, 1 Marketing Manager, 1 Robotics Engineer, and 1 Technical Service Engineer.
Requirements: Requires a Master’s or Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management, or related. Experience is required (1 year with Master’s or 3 years with Bachelor’s).
Must have some experience in each of the following skills: Database Management software, including SQL and Access Reporting; Data reporting using Tableau; Inventory & Warehouse management using NetSuite; Zoho customer relationship management software; Process improvement using Six Sigma; and Operational Budget preparation.
