Responsibilities of an Associate Attorney:
Assist in handling a broad range of corporate matters including mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, financing transactions, and general corporate governance.
- Conduct due diligence, draft and review transactional documents, and assist in negotiations.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on various corporate matters, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the firm to provide comprehensive legal solutions to clients.
Qualifications needed for an Associate Attorney:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in Indiana
- Licensed to practice in Illinois a plus
- 2-5 years of solid experience in corporate transactions and business law at a reputable law firm or relevant legal environment. Experience in other practice areas a plus
- Strong understanding of corporate transactions and business law principles, mergers and acquisitions(A MUST), securities regulations, and financing transactions.
- Proficiency in legal research, drafting agreements, and transactional documents.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts clearly.
- Proactive mindset, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Salary: $90,000-$110,000
