Business Litigation Associate Attorney - Jettison

Jettison is representing a Law Firm who is seeking a talented Commercial Litigation Attorney to join their dynamic team. We represent a diverse array of domestic and international clients in complex commercial disputes across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle all aspects of commercial litigation, including depositions, motion practice, and court appearances

Manage electronic discovery processes efficiently

Develop case strategies and provide legal counsel to clients

Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs

Conduct legal research and analysis

Collaborate with team members on case management

Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court

Areas of Practice:

Our firm handles a wide range of commercial disputes, including but not limited to:

Contract and corporate law

Construction and energy sector litigation

Environmental law

False Claims Act cases (both relator and defense)

Health care compliance, fraud, and abuse

Insurance defense and subrogation

Intellectual property disputes

Labor and employment issues

Pension and ERISA matters

Real estate, finance, and property tax assessment

Securities and telecommunications litigation

Transportation and utility regulation

White-collar crime defense

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school

Active membership in the State Bar

Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial litigation

Proven track record in handling depositions, motion practice, and court appearances

Strong experience in managing electronic discovery

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Outstanding academic record

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
