A Business Litigation Associate Attorney with 4-6 years' applicable experience is needed for a hybrid position in DFW for a well-regarded national law firm.
The Business Litigation Associate Attorney will join a highly successful team of legal professionals, handling complex litigation matters across a range of industries, including business, healthcare, and real estate. This role offers a platform to grow professionally, engage in high-stakes litigation, and contribute to the firm’s presence in the Fort Worth legal community.
Business Litigation Associate Attorney Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in complex business litigation, including partnership disputes, shareholder disagreements, breaches of contract, and enforcement of non-compete/non-solicitation agreements.
- Handle cases involving healthcare industry disputes and real estate litigation matters, such as property development conflicts, partnership disputes, and lender-related cases.
- Manage all aspects of case development, including pleadings, depositions, discovery, motions, and trial preparation.
- Work closely with clients to develop case strategies that align with their business objectives.
- Collaborate with a team of skilled attorneys, contributing to a robust, innovative, and challenging practice environment.
- Participate in firm-wide initiatives to maintain and enhance the firm’s reputation for excellence.
- Actively engage with the Fort Worth legal and business community to build networks and establish a robust local presence.
Business Litigation Associate Attorney Requirements:
- JD from a Tier 1 or 2 law school graduating in top third of their law school class.
- 4-6 years of substantive experience in complex commercial litigation, with at least 2 years handling sophisticated cases and 3 years of litigation experience altogether.
- Admission to and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas.
- Proficiency in deposition preparation, e-discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation within commercial litigation.
- Demonstrated ability to represent clients in a variety of business, healthcare, and real estate litigation matters.
- Commitment to building a practice in Fort Worth, with a strong interest in the local legal community.
