Job Details:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Intelligence Lead specializing in PowerBI to join our team in the Healthcare industry. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated individual to play a pivotal role in transforming our business operations by leveraging data and analytics. The Business Intelligence Lead will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our business intelligence capabilities. This role requires a deep understanding of data management (e.g., permissions, recovery, security, monitoring), data warehousing, report writing, and delivering business intelligence insights to the team.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead the development and execution of the company's business intelligence strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
2. Design, develop, and implement business intelligence dashboards and reports using PowerBI to provide insights and support decision-making processes.
3. Manage the full lifecycle of BI projects, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
4. Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
5. Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.
6. Evaluate and preprocess raw information to ensure accuracy and reliability.
7. Use SSRS, ETL, Data Stores, and API to manage and manipulate data, including data extraction, storage, transformation, and loading.
8. Maintain and ensure data privacy and compliance according to industry standards and regulations.
9. Conduct training sessions to educate end-users on the utilization of BI tools and dashboards.
10. Stay current with industry trends and developments in BI and healthcare to ensure the company's BI capabilities are cutting-edge.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a business intelligence role, preferably in the healthcare industry.
3. Proven experience with BI technologies, specifically PowerBI.
4. Strong knowledge of SQL, SSRS, ETL, Data Stores, and API.
5. Experience in data warehouse design and data mining.
6. Excellent understanding of data administration and management functions (collection, analysis, distribution, etc.)
7. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
8. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to translate complex data into understandable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
9. Familiarity with healthcare industry regulations related to data privacy and management.
10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
