Job Description:

We are seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to create, maintain, and support BI reporting tools (Tableau, MicroStrategy, OTBI) and Enterprise Data Warehouses. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL scripts and ETL routines to support Enterprise Business Intelligence initiatives.

JOB DUTIES: Create, maintain, and support BI Reporting Tools, (Tableau, MicroStrategy, OTBI) and Enterprise Data Warehouses, and SQL Scripts, ETL routines to support Enterprise Business Intelligence. Understand Business requirements and obtain clarifications for the change requests, and Enhancements to develop various BI and reporting applications using Power BI, Tableau and other BI tools. Convert Legacy reports, and dashboards to Tableau worksheets and Dashboards and mobile applications according to project requirements. Design and develop various Dashboards, storyboards, KPIs using Tableau. Plan projects, monitor progress and report development and implementation status to management using project management tools and reporting systems. Analyze, develop, and evaluate data in a data lake and data warehouse environment including data design, database architecture, metadata, and repository creation. Perform the translation of functional specifications into detailed technical documentation. Create Database Connections, multi-source connectors to integrate data from various data sources into Tableau Dashboards. Optimize complex SQL queries to efficiently save Snowflake compute warehouse costs and to minimize Dashboards load time. Support and troubleshoot Production issues, train technical teams and end-users to understand reports navigation. Create test cases, UAT, debugging and bug fixing as needed. Work under supervision. Travel and/or relocation to unanticipated client sites throughout USA is required.

EDUCATION Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/ IT/IS/Engineering (Any) or closely related field with Twelve (12) months of experience in the job offered or as an IT Consultant or Analyst or Programmer or Developer or Engineer or closely related field.

EXPERIENCE Experience of TWELVE (12) months working with Tableau and Power BI is required.
