In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing and maintaining business intelligence solutions and analytics products. Your responsibilities will include documenting requirements, enhancing processes, and collaborating closely with project teams to ensure successful project delivery. Roles and Responsibilities:
As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will:
- Create comprehensive documentation including Requirements Documents, Concept of Operations Documents, Use Cases, Process Flows, and Interface Designs.
- Develop use case scenarios for user acceptance testing processes.
- Analyze performance metrics across various areas including financial, satisfaction, and operational aspects.
- Conduct root cause analysis, utilizing methods such as customer satisfaction surveys when necessary.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to access and understand data, identifying opportunities for process improvement.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of ad hoc and standard operational reports.
- Coordinate with multiple teams to provide reporting insights and support reporting needs.
- Assist in developing strategic customer roadmaps.
- Maintain high-quality project documentation and analysis.
- Create test strategies, procedures, plans, and reports for system development projects.
- Generate ad-hoc reports, data queries, standard reports, and dashboards to meet business needs.
- Track and report project-related issues, challenges, and concerns.
- Stay updated on the latest processes and IT advancements to facilitate system modernization.
- Lead meetings and presentations to gather requirements, present strategies, and discuss findings.
- Maintain a positive work attitude and demonstrate problem-solving skills.
Required Skills/Abilities:
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and abilities:
- Proficiency in reporting and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently and effectively.
- Innovative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to translate high-level information into detailed requirements.
- Experience collaborating with developers and subject matter experts.
- Excellent communication skills to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and drive consensus towards acceptable solutions.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, or an MBA.
- 3+ years of experience using Tableau Desktop and Server.
- Knowledge of dashboard and report visualization best practices.
- Business Analyst or PMP certification is desired.
- 3-5 years of experience in business analysis or a related field.
- Experience in creating various types of requirements documentation and test procedures.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
