PATTERN Beauty is looking for a passionate, organized and detail-oriented Business Intelligence Analyst to join their fun, hard-working, results-driven, creative and collaborative team! Reporting into the Co-CEO, the Analyst will be responsible for generating advanced analytics of both retail, digital, enterprise and product details to help us achieve our growth goals. The ideal candidate will have experience in data analysis, financial analysis, and reporting, with a focus on DTC ecommerce and retail channels. The successful candidate will be responsible for pulling, maintaining, analyzing and reporting on key metrics, identifying areas of improvement, and providing recommendations for optimization. This role requires the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve results.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build unique & standard reporting to support cross-functional teams in understanding overall and more detailed business performance across channels and down to the SKU level.
- Analyze and report on key financial metrics, such as revenue, gross margin, contribution margin and return on investment
- Analyze and report on key DTC and performance marketing metrics such as traffic, conversion, CTR, CPMs, CAC, ROAS, TCoS, LTV, etc.
- Identify trends and opportunities for improvement in ecommerce financials and performance across DTC and Amazon.
- Cohort trending and analysis (ability to digest/manipulate through platforms and excel)
- Pair POS data along with retailer buyer patterns to build more predictive tools to help manage how PATTERN purchases and forecasts Inventory.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business drivers and develop action plans for improvement
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis and modeling to support decision-making
- Provide financial support for new initiatives, including business case analysis, financial modeling, and scenario analysis
- Monitor and report on industry trends and best practices in ecommerce financial analysis
- Conduct data analysis and modeling to identify trends, patterns, and insights in ecommerce data
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide visibility into key performance indicators (KPIs) and other important metrics
- Develop automated, insightful and actionable dashboards and pipelines that support business stakeholders' self-service data needs and allow them to make decisions quickly
- Keep up to date with the latest data science techniques and tools and evaluate their potential to improve the ecommerce business
- Utilize analytics to help increase the performance markdowns and/or promotion offers and help eliminate margin loss by managing frequency at the store/item level based on inventory and sell-through rates.
- Build custom dashboards in BI Tool for each business channel for their needs to quickly identify and work off real time data
EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, data science or a related field
- 6+ years of experience in data analytics, with a focus on DTC ecommerce or CPG retail channels
- Experience with financial modeling and scenario analysis
- Familiarity with ecommerce platforms and related tools, such as SQL, Looker, Shopify, Amazon, Meta, Google, Google Analytics, Klaviyo, Daasity, Daash, Mintel and the likes

Salary Range: 100,000 - 120,000
