We have been engaged in a search for Business Intelligence Analyst who has a deep understanding of business processes and value drivers, and can act as the intermediary between the Business and Data, while developing data related visualizations and reporting.
In this role, the Business Intelligence Analyst will:
- Work with Digital, Data and Business stakeholders to elicit high-level requirements and capture business and end user needs.
- Create impactful dashboards, reports and tools using various data sources to support business functions.
- Extract and manipulate data using SQL, with a strong focus on data integrity and accuracy.
- Design data warehouse table structures to support business needs.
- Develop technical solutions to improve access to data and related reporting.
- Aggregate and analyze various data sets to provide actionable insights.
- Promote, train, and support Business Intelligence tools and environment within the user community.
- Update documentation, reports, and maintain training materials associated with the Data Warehouse as well as Business Intelligence.
- Understand the customer journey, processes, data use, analysis, and quality - and define user requirements. Proactively monitor industry, functional, and technology trends.
- Support business case creation.
- Provide ad hoc analytical support to managers and department as needed.
- Create system to system data integrations to help synchronize data between systems.
- Define KPIs and value proposition of the portfolio management platform.
- Maintain the quality of portfolio analytics & insights and align with relevant Global balanced scorecards across Digital and business areas.
- Demo and represent the platform, including to senior leaders who are consumers of platform outputs.
- Analyzing and interpreting data as a business analyst, business intelligence professional, or similar capacity.
- Highly proficient with Power Platform (Power BI, Apps, Automate and Dataverse), development and administration.
- Ability to implement row-level security on data along with an understanding of application security layer models within Power BI.
- Knowledge of cloud data architecture and development. Having experience with one of the cloud services…. Azure, AWS or GCP.
- Proficiency in data visualization using applications such as QuickSight, Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView/QlikSense.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with fluency switching between drilling down into detailed metrics, synthesizing across disparate data sources and designing / presenting high-level, impactful dashboards which enable executive decision making.
- Basic Active Directory concepts, security permissions and network troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business problems and opportunities
- Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to work seamlessly with a variety of personalities, functional disciplines, and levels of seniority, including the Digital Senior Leadership Team; excellent communicator in written and verbal form.
- Strong influencing skills along with the following key qualities: Committed team player, willing to take accountability for results; strong communication and team management skills; a good track.
- Certified product owner, Scrum master or PMP a plus.
