Business Insights Senior Analyst - Alliance Resource Group

Lead market insights competency supporting cross-functional partners in evaluating markets of interest through primary and secondary data sources. 2. Develop comprehensive understanding of data sources in hand and advise on their appropriate use. 3. Further enhance our robust commercial data assets by evolving a wide-range of data sources, especially patient & physician claims based data, into strategic insights. 4. Analyze and synthesize data from various and disparate sources to perform analysis not otherwise possible from a single source. 5. Spearhead market share, market growth, and competitive insights analysis to inform executive leadership. 6. Apply technical knowledge and expertise to develop sophisticated data analysis techniques to proactively identify and analyze trends, opportunities, and challenges within our sales data, market dynamics, and customer behavior resulting in enhancement of our commercial performance. 7. Develop and deliver executive presentations utilized to communicate meaningful results, trends, and insights regarding the performance of key commercial initiatives. 8. Act as liaison to all departments to understand and identify critical business questions. 9. Establish systems and processes to identify analytical solutions to answer critical business questions. 10. Develop basic SQL queries. 11. Collaborate with a cross-functional team to deliver high-impact results. 12. Manage timelines and resources to ensure effective work allocation. 13. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies. 14. Perform other duties as assigned. Version 2 Qualification Requirements Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities 1. Experience working with patient level claims databases (e.g. Definitive Healthcare, Clarivate, etc.) 2. Demonstrated success designing and executing complex strategic projects. 3. Significant experience with analytics, statistics and structured problem-solving. 4. Strong analytic abilities to understand, digest, and summarize complex data to different audiences. 5. Advanced capabilities in Microsoft Office; mastery of Excel and PowerPoint; expertise in Microsoft Azure, Tableau, PowerBI, and SQL. Knowledge of data science programming languages such as Python. 6. Advanced or expert-level Excel skills with the ability to create and automate dynamic models required. 7. Proficiency in robust data analysis and presentation formation using internal and external data resources. 8. Innovative problem-solver with the ability to triangulate answers by adopting different problem-solving approaches. 9. Flexibility to adapt to rapidly evolving priorities and needs, while maintaining commitment to excellence. 10. Strong attention to detail. 11. Strong oral and written communication skills. Education/Experience Required 1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field required. 2. Minimum 7 years’ related experience for Manager. Minimum 5 years for Senior Analyst 3. Minimum 5 years’ experience in forecasting, business insights, market modeling, analytics, data science, competitive insights, and/or management consulting required. 4. Prior experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical or healthcare industries required Education/Experience Preferred Master of Business Administration or advanced degree in Data Science/Mathematical/Analytical Sciences preferred.
