Summary
The Business Development Associate role at TMMI plays a pivotal role in driving business growth through proactive engagement with potential clients and strategic development initiatives. This position involves establishing and nurturing client relationships, contributing to the overall expansion of TMMI's market presence, and identifying/ pursuing new business opportunities. The Business Development Associate will collaborate with various teams to achieve sales targets and grow long-term partnerships with new and existing customers.
Responsibilities
- Conduct cold calling and relationship selling to prospects over the phone.
- Identify and strengthen relationships with current customers.
- Grow business associated with a specific account base.
- Develop a deep understanding of TMMI's products and services to effectively communicate value propositions to potential clients.
- Utilize Salesforce for efficient customer relationship management (bonus if familiar).
- Prospect with Outside Sales Engineers both internal and external to their account base.
- Collaborate with the inside sales team and application engineers to address and solve customer needs.
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, lead generation, and networking.
Qualifications
- 2 years of sales experience with an emphasis on cold calling and relationship selling.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and strengthen relationships with current customers.
- Collaborative mindset to work with sales and engineering teams to address customer needs.
- Strong desire and skill to prospect over the phone.
- Familiarity with Salesforce is a bonus.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
Position Details
- Location: Wheat Ridge, Colorado office.
- Workdays: Monday to Friday with flexibility within core working hours.
- Infrequent travel may be required.
