We’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Development and Marketing Specialist/Manager to play a pivotal role in driving marketing initiatives and supporting strategic growth across practice groups and industry teams.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and execute business development and marketing strategies to support key practice areas, including Real Estate, Energy, Land Use & Environmental, and emerging industry sectors.
- Lead the creation and maintenance of marketing materials, proposals, pitch decks, and RFP responses that effectively highlight the firm's strengths and capabilities.
- Plan and manage high-impact client engagement events, webinars, and sponsorships to elevate the firm's market presence.
- Conduct in-depth research on industries, clients, prospects, and competitors to provide actionable insights for strategic initiatives.
- Oversee CRM databases and client distribution lists, ensuring accurate and targeted outreach.
- Collaborate with leadership and practice teams to refine marketing plans, measure progress, and adapt strategies for ongoing success.
- Mentor and manage junior marketing staff, fostering professional growth and driving team success.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 3–5+ years of experience in business development or marketing within a law firm or professional services environment.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling content and interact with high-level stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities, capable of managing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); CRM/database experience (InterAction, Salesforce) is a plus.
- A proactive, adaptable mindset with the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced setting.
- Prior experience managing staff or mentoring team members is preferred.
