Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing moving company. As the BDR, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and promoting our moving services to potential customers. This position is ideal for someone with a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and a desire to make a significant impact in a small business setting.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation and Prospecting:
- Identify potential clients through research, cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Build and maintain a database of prospective customers and businesses.
- Qualify leads to ensure they meet the company’s target market criteria.

Sales Outreach:
- Initiate and maintain contact with leads via phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings.
- Schedule and conduct consultations or site visits to assess moving needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Present service offerings and pricing to prospective clients in a clear and persuasive manner.

Relationship Management:
- Build long-term relationships with customers, real estate agents, property managers, and other referral partners.
- Act as a point of contact for customer inquiries, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.
- Follow up with clients post-move to maintain strong relationships and secure repeat business.

Marketing and Networking:
- Attend local networking events, trade shows, and community activities to promote the company’s services.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to implement campaigns that generate leads and enhance brand visibility.

Performance Tracking and Reporting:
- Monitor sales metrics and track progress toward monthly and quarterly targets.
- Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and market trends to management.
- Suggest strategies to improve business development efforts and achieve company goals.
Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field (preferred but not required). -
Experience:
- 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer service (moving industry experience is a plus).
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and presentation abilities.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
