Valmar Merchant Services, a leading provider of payment processing solutions to high risk and emerging markets, is looking for a Business Development Representative to play a pivotal role in driving growth and expanding our market presence in the merchant services sector.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage potential clients through targeted prospecting and outreach efforts.
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique business needs, and positioning our merchant services as a solution.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor offerings, and market demands to inform business development strategies.
- Effectively manage and prioritize a sales pipeline, tracking progress and ensuring timely follow-ups.
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement effective strategies for business expansion.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets, contributing to the overall growth and success of the company.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.
- Results-oriented with a track record of meeting and exceeding goals.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
